Welcome ♥

More than I could hope or dream of
You have poured Your favour on me
One day in the house of God is
Better than a thousand days in the world

So blessed, I can't contain it...
So much, I've got to give it away,
Your love taught me to live now...
You are more than enough for me.

Lord, You're more than enough for me
Lord, You're more than enough for me

God's child ♥

my deepest desires: go to Australia to get my degree. do humanitarian work. backpack. find my 'knight in shining armour'. and finally..MIGRATE! (:

My name is jiamin. i'm just a simple ordinary girl struggling to excel in my studies and to find my true identity. i have come to realise tht hope is, but, a very important thing for all of us; tht in the darkest moments, only if we cling on to hope can we find peace within ourselves. God bless!

back from korea!! i muz say it was an extremely eye-opening experience..not juz because i saw and touched snow for the first time in my life..but also to learn abt the culture of the koreans was rrly interesting. their way of life is rrly worlds aprt frm ours and rrly u will nvr noe abt alot of things abt them even thru all those korean dramas until u set foot in their country and witness it for yurself. for example, i nv knew korean stuff were so expensive!! i tot japan was the worst and korea wld b the opposite frm them..but aft gg there i rrly gained new revelations..haha..one bowl of rice is abt SGD 1.60!!! omg rite!!

but rrly haf to give it up to the koreans la..they haf to some extent resisted globalisation..most of their garments are made in korea..they dun believe in gg to china to manufacture their stuff even if labour is cheap, they also dun import rice and all tt frm overseas...in a way they are helping to sustain their farmers so tht the rich will not get richer and the poor poorer..korean traditional cultures are still very much alive even till today despite westernisation..and it's really a marvel how they love their country and their culture so much...apparently frm young they haf been tot to onli use things frm their own country because onli these are the best..yea..for example their cars mostly are onli korean made cars like Hyundai, Kai motors etc and apparently if u are seen driving some other cars u will b mocked at..haha..in today's world to find such a country willing to give up the opportunities tht come wif opening up it's economy entirely is admirable..

anyway smth bad happened during the trip and it was tht we were involved in an accident..but it wasnt our driver's fault because the driver of a public bus in a moment of negligence din c our bus coming and swerved out of it's lane..our bus hit the middle of tht bus..and luckily we braked in time or else any harder the impact wld haf shattered the glass and caused serious injury to any one sitting there..however my sis, being very light, was thrown of her seat and it slide several inches on the floor..we were so scared smth had happned to her and everyone was juz hovering over her..and she felt so embarrassed..haha..but luckily it was juz a minor sprain on her shoulder..and i wld like to thank God for tht..because b4 i left in my previous entry actually mentioned i prayed for safety for my family and i feel God has protected us ( although i did catch a bout of flu over there, probably because of the cold, but it wasnt anything big). Thank you Lord for everything.

&so much I gotta give it away; 12:19 AM
